On Monday, December 15th, 2014, the Rotary Club of Trenton's Christmas celebration formed a joyful backdrop for the awarding of five Paul Harris Fellowships donated by Dr. Sharada Prasad in the names of her family, husband Baron Prasada and their two sons, and in the name of Rotarian Diane Southwell. By including Diane in her donation, Dr. Prasad is recognising Diane as a tireless Rotarian who has made great contributions to the club's efforts for many years.  The Paul Harris Fellowships and the financial contribution to the Rotary Foundation they represent, makes  the donors and recipients a part of the eradication of Polio, and a partner in bringing peace, health and prosperity to in-need areas of the world.

The presentation of these awards at our Christmas celebration brought home the meaning and purpose of Rotary amidst a warm and convivial evening of fellowship and sharing. Rotary Club of Trenton extends its deep appreciation to Dr. Sharada and Baron Prasad and family for their contributions and extends its congratulations to Diane Southwell for a well deserved honour.
