We look forward to seeing you there!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Zoom for this meeting.

With everyone's committee updates in place, we'll focus on Q&A and a few essential items to keep everyone informed and supported.

Be sure to watch for the direct e-mail invitation which will provide the opportunity for you to file your report and access the Zoom link (which we can't post publically on this calendar).

Kindly ensure you've read over the reports just prior to the meeting and prepare any questions you'd like to ask of our other executives.

Thank you so much for everything you do for others through Rotary. ☀️

Our Sew Girls Can Go to School initiative is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve her potential. By helping to end period poverty, we remove a barrier that prevents many girls from attending school regularly and participating fully in their education. Access to reusable menstrual products not only supports their health and dignity but also helps keep them in the classroom, where they can gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to build brighter futures. Together, we are investing in education, empowering young women, and creating opportunities that can transform lives for generations to come.

We invite all members to join us for this meaningful hands-on project. Whether you are an experienced sewer or simply willing to lend a hand, there is a role for everyone. Beyond the impact we make together, these events offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fellowship, share stories, strengthen friendships, and experience the camaraderie that makes Rotary so special. Come out, have some fun, connect with fellow Rotarians, and help us make a lasting difference—one stitch at a time.

We’re excited to be heading back to our local food bank, and we’d love for you to join us for another rewarding evening of giving back to our community!

Whether we’re packing meal kits, sorting food donations, or stocking shelves, every helping hand makes a real difference, and together, we can make an even bigger impact.

This is always a fun and meaningful way to connect, support local families, and give back alongside fellow members. Bring a friend, bring your family, and come be part of another amazing evening of teamwork, laughter, and community spirit!

Hope to See you there!

Please join us for a special presentation featuring Shashi Bedti from the Rotary Club of Whitby, who will be sharing the story behind the Backpack Hygiene Kit Project—a wonderful humanitarian initiative making a meaningful difference in the lives of students in remote Nunavut communities.

The project provides high school students with essential hygiene products and school supplies, helping to address some of the unique challenges faced by northern communities. With basic personal-care items sometimes costing up to ten times more in the Arctic than in southern Canada, these backpacks provide much-needed support to students and their families.

Come out and learn more about this inspiring initiative, hear about the difference it is making, and discover how Rotarians are coming together to help ensure students have access to the essentials they need.

We’d love to have you join us as we welcome Shashi and learn more about this incredible project!

Let’s come together, learn, connect, and celebrate the power of Rotary to make a difference—not only in our own communities, but across Canada.

Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!

Join us for a hands-on evening of giving back and making a difference in our community!

We’re heading to the Food Bank and would love to have our Rotary members come out and lend a hand. There are lots of ways to help — whether it’s stacking shelves, sorting food, packing meal bags, or simply pitching in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

It’s a great opportunity to spend some time together while helping ensure that food reaches local families and individuals who need it.

Come out, roll up your sleeves, and let’s make a difference together!
A couple of friendly reminders:
Please eat before you arrive, as we’ll be busy lending a hand during our time at the Food Bank.
Bring along a drink to keep yourself refreshed while we work.

Every helping hand makes the work a little lighter, and the impact a little greater.  We hope you’ll join us!

Rotarians, family, friends, and community members are all invited to join us for a special World Polio Flag Raising at Quinte West City Hall!

Join the Mayor, City Councillors, and fellow Rotarians as we come together to raise awareness of Rotary International’s ongoing commitment to End Polio Now.

This is a wonderful opportunity to show our community spirit, stand united behind this important cause, and remind everyone that we are getting closer to a polio-free world.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your Rotary spirit, invite a friend, and come out to be part of this meaningful community event.

Together, we can make a difference — One Day. One Goal. End Polio.

Please join us for an important club meeting as we conduct key business in preparation for our upcoming Annual General Meeting.

One of the primary items on the agenda will be the formation of our Nominating Committee, making it especially important that all voting members are in attendance. This committee plays a key role in identifying and recommending the future leaders of our club.

As the saying goes, if you're not in the room, don't be surprised if your name comes up! Attending ensures your voice is heard and gives you the opportunity to participate in the discussion—and perhaps avoid being volunteered for a committee you hadn't planned on joining!

Strong clubs are built on engaged members, thoughtful discussion, and shared leadership. Your participation helps ensure we have a representative committee and a strong foundation for the year ahead.

This week, we have the privilege of welcoming Steve Rutledge from the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise as our guest speaker.

Steve will provide an inspiring update on the Rotary International Water Project in Laos, highlighting how Rotarians are working together across borders to bring clean water, improved sanitation, and lasting hope to communities in need. His presentation will showcase the incredible impact of international service and the difference Rotary continues to make around the world.

Whether you're passionate about Rotary's global initiatives or simply interested in learning more about this remarkable project, you won't want to miss this opportunity to hear firsthand how "Service Above Self" is changing lives.

Join us for an engaging presentation, meaningful conversation, and the fellowship that makes our club so special.

Please join us for a special presentation from our former Rotary member, Gord Bunt, as he introduces us to Camp Outlook an inspiring organization helping young people discover their strength, confidence, and potential through adventure.

Based in Kingston, Camp Outlook gives youth ages 13–17 the opportunity to experience free, extended backcountry canoe trips. For many of these young people, it’s an opportunity they may never otherwise have had.

At the heart of Camp Outlook is a powerful belief:

“No matter what a person’s circumstances may be, they are able to exceed expectations.”

Come out, reconnect with Gord, and hear how a wilderness adventure, a supportive team, and a belief in each young person’s potential can make a lasting difference.

We’d love to see you there, come listen, learn, and be inspired!

This meeting is in preperation for our AGM  on Nov 30th -   the zoom link will be sent out to the board members in the agenda.

In preparing the agenda, please enter your Directors report into the spreadsheet and make note of any items you would like to speak to during the meeting.  This will help to keep the meeting on track.

Our Annual General Meeting is an important opportunity to come together as a club to reflect on where we've been, celebrate what we've accomplished, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities before us.

Your voice, your ideas, and your participation help shape the future of our club. Whether you've been a Rotarian for many years or have recently joined our Rotary family, your presence is valued and your perspective matters.

The AGM is more than just club business—it's a chance to connect with fellow members, celebrate our shared commitment to Service Above Self, and ensure our club continues to thrive for years to come.

We encourage all members to attend and be part of this important evening. Together, we'll continue building a strong, vibrant Rotary Club that makes a lasting impact in our community and beyond.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please join us as Allan Kayondo shares his story with us, giving us a glimpse into his life growing up in Uganda and his experiences since coming to Canada as part of his education.

Allan will also share what it’s been like to live, learn, and work at St. Leonard’s, and how this experience has shaped his journey and perspective.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know Allan a little better, hear about his life and culture, and learn about the experiences and opportunities that brought him to Canada.

Come out, listen, ask questions, and help us give Allan a warm Rotary welcome! 💙

We look forward to sharing an interesting and inspiring evening together!
