Our 2025-2026 New Generations Director is
Deb Murray
New Generations refers to the youngest members of the Rotary family. Many take part in Rotary’s youth and young adult programs—Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE)—while others are service-minded young people actively involved in club and district activities.
And yes, it’s true, Rotary Youth Exchange is Rotary’s best program! This was proudly echoed by past Rotary International Presidents at the 2025 Rotary International Convention in Calgary, where many of the conference hosts were themselves RYE alumni.
The Rotary Club of Trenton is dedicated to engaging youth and young adults in our vocational, community, and international service projects. We work hard to offer programs and resources that support their growth, and we strive to take part in RYE each year. We’re always looking for both host families and students who are ready for this life-changing experience.
What is RYE?
It’s an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a new culture, make new friends, attend new schools, and give back through service—all with the support of their Rotary Club.
