Canada Mathare Education Trust

Please join us as we welcome The Canada Mathare Education Trust (CMETrust) and a few of their board members. 

The Canada Mathare Education Trust is a registered Canadian charity that provides high school and post secondary scholarships to deserving young people from the Mathare Slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Since 2006, CMETrust has supported over 300 students (with a commitment to gender parity) and developed an active and growing alumni network in Mathare. We have 4 Kenyan staff implementing the program in Mathare as well as an established Board of Directors in Canada and a newly formed Board of Directors in Kenya.
