Backpack Hygiene Kit project

Please join us for a special presentation featuring Shashi Bedti from the Rotary Club of Whitby, who will be sharing the story behind the Backpack Hygiene Kit Project—a wonderful humanitarian initiative making a meaningful difference in the lives of students in remote Nunavut communities.

The project provides high school students with essential hygiene products and school supplies, helping to address some of the unique challenges faced by northern communities. With basic personal-care items sometimes costing up to ten times more in the Arctic than in southern Canada, these backpacks provide much-needed support to students and their families.
