The Rotary Club of Trenton is a member club of Rotary International and part of District 7070, an organization of professional persons, united worldwide, which provides humanitarian service, encourages ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. This is exemplified in Rotary's official motto: "Service Above Self". Our club has a very rich and eventful history, with the original charter dating back to 1922.
Our membership is a cross-section of experienced business, not-for-profit, and professional community members, plus an ever-increasing complement of active young men and women to nurture and sustain our club going forward. We believe in strong fellowship, principally through our weekly meetings, where we explore and discuss a broad range of interesting topics, as well as through committee participation that helps to foster deeper friendships, mutual respect, and understanding.
We provide ample opportunities for participation and fulfillment by engaging in a variety of events and fund-raising activities. We work very closely within our community, contributing our efforts and experience and the funds that we raise towards Rotary's areas of focus. We are also active in our District and support selected projects in Canada and internationally.
Check our calendar and come out to hear one of our interesting speakers chat on a wide variety of topics. Enjoy some convivial time together and meet our fun and always friendly members.
We meet at These 4 Walls Gallery at 22 Front Street, Trenton, ON, on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m.
